In order to allow for 9’ finished ceilings in this kitchen and mudroom remodel, the 1938 Country Club home was shored up for excavation of the existing basement and crawlspace. The kitchen was redesigned to accommodate a walk in pantry and breakfast bar. The newly designed and constructed basement comprises the family room bar area, wine room, exercise room, laundry room, and a guest bedroom/bathroom. Off of the garage entrance, a new mudroom was built with benches and cubbies for storage.
